Making an exchange into an agent
A request that worked well can become a reusable agent: « Make it an agent » opens Add an agent with what the exchange carries over — and says what it does not.
What is carried over
- The instructions: the turn's request, generalised by the generator, editable before generating.
- The knowledge: the collections the answer cited.
- The web, when the turn searched it: the request tells the generator. The agent gets a web step only if the organisation opens the web to its agents, under its policy and its guard — the preview shows it.
What is not
- The thread's history: the agent starts from its instructions.
- Attachments: they serve the thread only — add them to a collection for an agent to read them.
- Your identity: the agent runs for its team, not in your name.
- Approvals given in the thread: each of the agent's gates is decided again.
Not yet
SoonCarrying over the skills that shaped the turn: the turn does not record them yet — pin them in the agent.
