Mesh › Remote agents

An agent from another organisation, by approval

An agent running outside your organisation enters the Mesh through its Agent Card, pinned by its fingerprint — and only after a human decision. Until it is approved, none of your agents may delegate to it.

Requesting its arrival

  1. An approver or an owner gives the URL of its Agent Card: the card is read so you can check it — nothing is registered yet.
  2. They choose the team that will decide, then send the request: the agent appears on the map, pending, and a gate opens in Approvals.
  3. An approver or a lead of that team, or an owner, decides it — never the person who asked.

After the decision

  1. Approved: the agent belongs to the team that approved it, and the organisation's delegating agents may call it.
  2. Refused: its card is not kept — only its name and fingerprint remain, as the record of the request.

When its card changes

The card is checked again at every delegation: a different fingerprint blocks the call. A changed card suspends the agent until its team approves the card that was read, with two signatures — an owner alone for an agent with no team. Even if the card becomes identical again, it does not put the agent back in service: only a human decision does.

Revoking

An owner revokes a remote agent from its inspector: it leaves the registry, and no delegation reaches it any more.
